Welcome to our site!

Welcome to our WTA site!

The Wayland Teachers Association works to uphold our mission statement:

  • To work for the welfare of school children; to work for the advancement of education, and to improve the opportunities available to all.
  •   To develop and promote the adoption of such ethical practices, personnel policies and standards of preparation and participation as distinguish a profession.
  • To enable members to speak with a common voice concerning matters pertinent to the teaching profession.
  • To unify and strengthen the teaching profession and to secure and maintain the salaries, retirement, tenure, professional and sick leave and other working conditions necessary to support teaching as a profession

If you are a member, please browse our “Membership” and “Member Resources” tabs to find useful information!
